KAKA!

This week on People of the week, we bring you a soccer hero whose life was saved by Jesus Christ and in return glorified the Lord's name with his football career. This Football phenomenon starts for Europe's biggest club, AC Milan, and played for his country, Brazil, who was 5 times champion in the World Cup. This player is the best midfielder in the world( in my opinion), Ricardo KAKA.

Kaka is a devoted Evangelical christian who is one since the age of twelve. He started his club career at the age of 8 and from then on, he became the most sort-after player for many clubs in the world.

He always removed his jersey to reveal an "I Belong to Jesus" T-shirt and openly engaged in prayer moments after the final whistle of Brazil's 2002 World Cup, and Milan's 2004 Scudetto and 2007 Champions League triumphs. He also had the same phrase, along with "God Is Faithful," stitched onto the tongues of his boots. During the postmatch celebration following Brazil's 4–1 win overa Argentina in the 2005 FIFA Confederations cup final, he and several of his teammates wore T-shirts that read "Jesus Loves You" in various languages. (quoted from wikipedia)

"I learnt that it is faith that decides whether something will happen or not."

We should all look up to Kaka's courage in speaking of his love to God openly. Not that we will remove our t-shirt in school or our workplace, we can at least speak of God's goodness whenever someone asked of our religion. Better still, we should be the testimony of God anywhere anytime:)
